MANILA (AFP) - Philippine prosecutors said Monday a US Marine accused of killing a Filipino transgender woman would be charged with murder, in a case that has fanned anti-American sentiment.

Private First Class Joseph Scott Pemberton, who is detained at Philippine military headquarters, will not be granted bail, lead prosecutor Emilie Fe de los Santos told reporters.
