Navy personnel in Timor Leste practising combat tactics taught by the US Marines during an exercise at a naval base in Metinaro, Dili, yesterday. The United States Navy and the Timor Leste navy staged a joint exercise as part of the annual Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (Carat) exercise, which aims to boost maritime security capabilities and increase interoperability among participants.
