JOHOR BARU (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Two people were injured and 45 others escaped unhurt when the express bus they were travelling in skidded and overturned on Jalan Ulu Tiram-Kota Tinggi in Johor.

Kota Tinggi Fire and Rescue Department operations commander Jaafar Mahmood said a distress call was received over the incident at 9.47am Friday (Oct 20).

Four firemen were deployed to the scene a few minutes later.

"Investigations show that the bus skidded and overturned," he said in a statement.
