Thai police fire tear gas at protesters outside Government House

BANGKOK (AFP) - Thai police fired tear gas on Sunday at protesters trying to force their way into Government House in an attempt to topple Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

Two cannisters were fired at protesters who were trying to breach barricades around the seat of government, according to an Agence France-Presse reporter at the scene.
