Indonesian President Joko Widodo arrives in the Pahandut area of Palangkaraya, the capital of Central Kalimantan province, on Saturday (Oct 31) to see how its residents are doing amid the haze problem.

He also visits a state-run primary school.

The sun has been visible for the past two days after rain poured in many parts of Kalimantan, dousing fires that had shrouded Palangkaraya for more than two months.
