A leisure trip to the hilltop resort destination of Genting Highlands in Pahang turned into a nightmare for 12 Singaporeans when the tour bus taking them home yesterday flipped over on a highway linking Karak to Kuala Lumpur.

Nine of the Singaporean tourists were injured in the accident, which caused a tailback stretching more than 9km. The driver was said to have lost control of the bus before hitting a divider.
