Remembering Myanmar's heroes

Myanmar boys holding images of the country's late independence heroes near the National League for Democracy party's headquarters during the 70th Martyrs' Day in Yangon yesterday. Martyrs' Day is observed on July 19 to commemorate the country's nine independence heroes, including General Aung San - the father of the country's leader Aung San Suu Kyi - who were assassinated on that day in 1947.
