Thai officials in traditional costumes carry the statue of Buddha from Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall to a merit-making ceremony at Dusit Palace in Bangkok on Tuesday. Thousands of monks and well-wishers joined the ceremony to commemorate the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, whose royal cremation is scheduled for October 26.
