GEORGE TOWN (The Star/Asia News Network) - A Thai transvestite was stabbed in the abdomen during a quarrel in a hotel room with his client over payment.
It is learnt that the 28-year-old Thai from Phuket met his client “Tommy” on Thursday around 11.30pm at the hotel.
George Town OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Omar said an argument ensued after both could not agree on the payment.
The man fled after stabbing the Thai on the left side of his belly.

The Thai had arrived in Malaysia on Monday and was supposed to return to his country soon. Both of them just got to know each other about two hours earlier over WeChat and agreed to meet.
“The room was registered under the name of the victim,” he said, adding that police would be checking the CCTV footage.
