Malaysian police investigating alleged affair involving senior anti-graft officer

SEPANG (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - The Malaysian police are investigating allegations that a senior anti-graft officer had an extramarital affair with a married woman, after several videos supposedly exposing it surfaced online.

"If we have to make arrests, we will. But as of now we haven't made any," said Malaysian police chief Mohamad Fuzi Harun.

"You have to give us enough time to investigate this matter," Tan Sri Fuzi said on Tuesday (Oct 17). "We are trying hard to find those responsible. As far as I know, the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) has not made a (police) report," he said.

He added that the case was being investigated under Section 498 of the Penal Code for enticing, with criminal intent, a married woman.
