Protesters trying to remove a barricade during a protest against alleged blasphemy by Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, outside the presidential palace yesterday. Thousands of people staged a rally demanding prosecution of the governor. The rally was mostly peaceful until the evening, when police fired water cannon and tear gas to disperse the crowd.
