BAKUN (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Barisan Nasional and Cabinet ministers are prepared for a "heated" Parliament session starting on Monday (Oct 19), said Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Dr Ahmad Zahid said the government expects the opposition to harp on current hot issues such as the 1Malaysia Development Bhd controversy.

"We know they (the Opposition) will pick on issues in order to raise controversies. We are prepared to answer them and we hope they are prepared to accept our answers," he said.

"However, they will of course never be satisfied with our answers because they are the opposition," he told reporters while on a visit to Bakun Dam in in central Sarawak.

He also launched the construction of the Mejaweh to Belaga road and officiated the opening of SMK Bakun.
