Former anti-graft agency adviser and ex-AGC officer arrested in 1MDB probe

PETALING JAYA (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Malaysian police have arrested an ex-Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) adviser who is a Tan Sri and an officer from the Attorney General's Chambers to assist in investigations involving 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

They are expected to be brought to the Petaling Jaya Magistrates Court on Saturday morning for remand.

Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar declined to comment on the latest arrests.
