The march of manufacturing from China to other nations in the region is expected to continue despite its trade truce with the United States.

"It is great that the downward spiral in US-China trade relations is stabilising," Mr Adam Sitkoff, executive director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hanoi, told The Sunday Times, referring to the phase one trade deal signed in Washington last week.
