Cyclone Mora hit Bangladesh yesterday, killing at least five people. Residents near the coast in the Cox's Bazar district in south-eastern Bangladesh's Chittagong city were among the nearly 600,000 people who fled to safer areas in the face of the deadly storm which had struck Sri Lanka earlier, killing 193 people there.
