A wildlife official showing a rare species of Indian black spotted pond turtles to journalists yesterday after they were confiscated in Karachi, Pakistan, during an attempt to smuggle them into international black markets. Dozens of rare turtle species, once found in the Indus river and worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, were confiscated during a raid conducted on the Super Highway.
