NANNING (Xinhua) - A man in south China committed suicide after allegedly killing two five-year-old children and injured three others in a knife attack on Wednesday, police said.

The killing occurred at about 7pm in a village in Chengtuan township of Liujiang county, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the county's public security bureau said in a statement.

Police found the suspect dead from apparent suicide when they located him. They gave no further details.
