China's top political advisers meet

The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC),China's top political advisory body, will open its annual session today.

The session is set to conclude in the morning of March 15.


AED initiative in Bukit Gombak

An automated external defibrillator (AED) initiative will be launched in Bukit Gombak today.

Five AEDs will be installed in Bukit Gombak's landed estates, and as part of an event today, some residents will participate in a three-hour certification training to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED skills.


Blockbuster clashes

Golf fans can look forward to an exciting finale at the HSBC Women's World Championship at Sentosa's New Tanjong Course tomorrow. Super Sunday also features a blockbuster EPL clash between defending champions Chelsea and runaway leaders Manchester City. Europe's big guns will be in last-16, second-leg action in the Champions League in midweek. The marquee matchups are Paris Saint-Germain versus Real Madrid, and Tottenham versus Juventus.
