An ancient Chinese warrior army took over Zagreb's main square last week as part of the city's Chinese New Year celebrations. The 80 multi-coloured life-size sculptures were inspired by the original terracotta warriors of China's first emperor Qin Shi Huang, who built thousands of figures to accompany him to the afterlife. Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic and Zagreb mayor Milan Bandic attended this year's Chinese New Year celebrations on Saturday, which included a dragon dance performed by students from the Confucius Institute in Zagreb.
