South Korea President Park Geun Hye insists on stronger response to North's nuclear test

SEOUL (AFP) - South Korean President Park Geun Hye on Wednesday (Jan 13) said the world needed a tougher response to North Korea's latest nuclear test, which proved that past sanctions had failed to deter Pyongyang.

"The international community's countermeasures against North Korea's last nuclear test must differ from the past," Park told an annual press conference.
