BEIJING (China Daily/Asia News Network) - The iPhone 7 is probably one of the trendiest gadgets of the moment, and the son of China's richest man is making sure that his dog doesn't miss out.

Mr Wang Sicong, Chinese billionaire and property mogul Wang Jianlin's son, apparently bought eight iPhone 7s for his pet husky.

To top it off, he posted pictures of the stash on his dog's very own Weibo account.

"Not sure what people are showing off on social media about. What's the point to show off? Should I do something?", the dog, named Wang Keke or Coco, apparently asks himself, according to a caption tagged to pictures of him surrounded by eight brand new iPhones.

Keke is a star pet dog among Chinese Internet users and his Sina Weibo followers exceed 1.9 million. He is often pictured with various luxury accessories bought by his doting human.

Last year, Wang Sicong showed a picture of Keke with two Apple Watches which cost over 100,000 yuan (S$20,454), sparking heated debate.

Many people commented on the latest photos, with some saying: "We can't even hold a candle to a dog."

As most of the followers are used to this sort of showing off, not a few deadpanned: "Is there going to be a lucky draw?"
