#metoo: Top finance bureaucrat quits, ministry slammed for insensitivity to victims

Japan's top finance bureaucrat resigned last week over allegations of sexual harassment, saying the pressure meant he was unable to do his job.

But Mr Junichi Fukuda, who was administrative vice-finance minister, has insisted that the report in the weekly Shukan Shincho magazine was untrue and that he would sue for libel.
