Japan zoo releases new images of newborn baby panda

Ueno Zoo's 11-year-old giant panda Shin Shin gives birth to a new cub, five years after her first cub was found dead just days after it was born.
TOKYO (REUTERS) - Tokyo Ueno Zoo released new images of a panda cub, which was born on Monday (June 12).
The mother, Shin Shin, 11, had the cub five years after her first cub was found dead just days after it was born.
The new cub has yet to be named and the sex of the cub has yet to be determined, but its weight was estimated at around 180 grams (6 ounces), around 30 grams (1 ounce) heavier than a week ago.
Zoo staff are monitoring the pair.
