China urges North Korea to stick to pledges to denuclearise

BEIJING (REUTERS) - China's Foreign Ministry urged North Korea on Friday (Jan 8) to stick to its denuclearisation pledges and avoid taking action that would make worse the situation since its latest nuclear test on Wednesday.

Ministry spokesman Hua Chunying made the comments at a daily news briefing.
