A raging fire at Medowie near Port Stephens, Australia, on Monday. Firefighters have been battling to control 11 blazes across New South Wales. More than 40 bush and grass fires are still burning but no properties are under threat, and crews have wrested the upper hand, the Rural Fire Service said. Low to moderate fire danger ratings are expected for most of the state today.
