More than 150 people onboard a Diamond Princess cruise ship in Sydney are suffering from norovirus gastroenteritis.

SYDNEY (REUTERS) - More than 150 people are suffering from norovirus gastroenteritis onboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship docked in Sydney.

Passengers were treated by the ship's doctor. No one needed to be hospitalised.

"I just got sick Monday night, vomiting and gastric Monday night and I was in bed Tuesday."

The ship, carrying several thousand passengers, had just returned from a 12-day cruise to New Zealand.
