Military personnel from Laos and Thailand taking part in a humanitarian aid and disaster relief exercise yesterday at a military base in Chonburi province, Thailand. Hosted by Thailand, Laos, Russia and Japan, the Military Medicine - Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Joint Exercise 2016 seeks to test the readiness of the teams in tackling disaster situations in the Asia-Pacific region. More than 2,000 personnel from 18 countries, including Singapore, are participating in the exercise, which is on in Thailand until Sunday.
