All hail the Black Knights
In its first five days, over $18.9 billion worth of deals have been clinched during the inaugural Singapore Airshow.
An additional $3.6 billion was generated from contracts for facilities and other services. Organisers say 70 per cent of exhibitors have already confirmed bookings for the next Airshow in 2010. More than 800 companies from about 42 countries showcased and pitched their products to over 30,000 trade visitors throughout the week. But the million dollar deals aside, it's the sheer excitement of the flying displays that are guaranteed to thrill the crowds when the show opens its doors to the public this weekend. Tracy Sua speaks to Singapore's own Black Knights to find out how they weave their magic. Duration: 3 min 10 secs |
