EU leaders visit Myanmar Buddhist temple in S'pore
As the Asean Summit comes to a close, British and French representatives of the European Union (EU) today made a trip to the Myanmar Buddhist Temple at Tai Gin road.

The visit is aimed at showing EU's stance against Myanmar's military regime, which has come under international scrutiny after its crackdown on pro-democracy protesters in September.

The temple visit comes shortly after a joint Asean-EU news conference where leaders clearly disagreed on the issue of sanctions against Myanmar.

Claire Huang reports.
