Seeing military aircraft up close at Singapore Airshow 2012

A country's air defence is one of its primary protection systems against foreign threats. Singapore is no exception to this as the Government ensures that the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) is well-equipped with the most up-to-date machinery.
The Singapore Airshow 2012 featured a few of the RSAF's military jets and gave the public a rare opportunity to view the jets up close and even climb into some of the planes for a hands-on experience. Besides the RSAF's military jets, the United States Air Force (USAF) and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) planes were on display as well.
In The Straits Times Online video clip below, shot with Nikon's new digital cameras - the Nikon 1 V1 and J1 - Singapore's RSAF AH-64 S-70B, F-15SG, F-16D+; the United States' USAF C-17, E-3B SENTRY, KC-135 and Australia's RAAF C-130J are featured.
The video was edited by ST Online's Lee Jia Xin and Gurveen Kaur using Nikon's latest editing software - the ViewNX2.
