Mr Tan Ah Chong, the man who was stabbed to death at a Jalan Kukoh hawker centre last Thursday, was cremated yesterday morning. The murder suspect, Lim Bock Song, was later shot by a police officer at Outram Park MRT station after he rushed at the officer with a 20cm-long knife.
