Make pockets a top priority

THOSE who shop at fashion retailer Topshop Topman's Ion Orchard outlet from now until Aug 23 would do well to think about buying clothes with pockets. For every item of clothing with a pocket sold there, the retailer will donate a dollar to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, which puts spending money for school-related expenses in the hands of needy children.

Health drink sales to help needy kids

EACH time you buy a 12-bottle set of health drink New Moon Essence, 44 cents will go to ST's School Pocket Money Fund. The sets are available at 67 Esso stations from Aug 4 to Sept 15 at a special price of $25 in a collaboration between New Moon, Cheers FairPrice Express and Esso.

Concert to raise funds for children

NUDGE! is a concert and carnival fund-raiser for ST's School Pocket Money Fund.

The event features homegrown bands such as Caracal and Vertical Rush. It will be held from 5pm to 11pm on Aug 8 at the Sentosa Cove Arrival Plaza.

Tickets at $12 for students and $16 for adults are available from Ministry of Food outlets at My Izakaya as well as Japanese Sweets & Coffee outlets at Raffles City and Ang Mo Kio Hub. Alternatively, e-mail nudge09@gmail.com, or call 9138-0040 or 9006-6413.
