Seagate employees have purchased 6,200 bears to raise S$19,194 for Child Aid on October 22. Seagate topped up S$1 for every bear sold, bringing the total to more than $26,000.

Says Seagate's Snr VP, Global Disc Storage Operations, Dr Dave Mosley, "This year, the employees chipped in to do their part for Child Aid by purchasing miniature bears to help the less fortunate. I'm particularly proud of the efforts as the collection for Child Aid is always distributed toward activities that provide specific, meaningful opportunities for these children."

Dr Mosley has personally purchased 500 bears to support this initiative, and these bears will be presented as gifts to the children from various charities currently supported by Seagate.
