Mini with a big heart (Date of Publication: The Straits Times, August 23, 2009)

One hundred and fifty Mini cars forming a giant 50 sign at the Changi Exhibition Centre yesterday. The iconic vehicle turns 50 years old this year and celebrations include a variety of events, such as this Mini Convoy Formation Picture.

A group photo was taken of all the cars with their drivers. The printed photo will be placed in a picture sleeve and sold for $50 each. The money from the sale will be donated to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. -- ST PHOTO: ALBERT SIM
