20-YEAR-OLD NUS student Dawn Ong screamed when she was informed that her photo caption entry for The Straits Times NDP Photo Caption Contest was one of this week's winners.

'My friends say they have never seen someone so excited to win NDP tickets before,' she gushes.

She is one of five winners, who walk away with a pair of tickets to this year's National Day Parade.

The contest requires participants to complete the sentence 'I am proud to call Singapore my home because...' and the sentence is accompanied with a different photo every week.
