SOUTH Korea forward Kim Gun Hee kick-started his country's 5-0 trouncing of Saudi Arabia yesterday with this swerving shot.

Subsequent goals from Shim Je Hyeok (32nd min), Suh Myeong Won (43rd), Lim Keun Young (59th) and another by Kim (72nd) completed the rout. That condemned the Saudis to third spot in Group B and sent them out of the football tournament.

South Korea will be joined by North Korea in the semi-finals after the latter beat Laos 4-2 yesterday to finish second in the group.
