FIRST GOLD: Chinese diver Wu Dongliang won the first medal of the inaugural Asian Youth Games yesterday in the boys' 3m springboard at the Toa Payoh Swimming Complex. Hosts Singapore also celebrated a milestone after pole vaulter Sean Lim and long jumper Melissa Wu bagged bronze medals on the first day of the athletics competition at Bishan Stadium.
