'Exemplary, Prof Suresh.'

MRS ALICE LOW-WEE: 'My niece underwent three major operations in two months. In each operation, Professor Suresh Nathan of National University Hospital (NUH) took pains to explain the nature of the operation and was always very empathetic towards the family's concerns. He made it a point to explain the benefits and risks involved and more. He checked her progress on weekends and public holidays as well. He went beyond the call of duty. Our family is comforted and reassured by his exemplary conduct. We are blessed to have been referred to Prof Suresh, his team and NUH.'

'My sincere gratitude.'

MRS KAREN BROWN: 'I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Sharlene of Summer Productions, staff of Samsung & StarHub roadshow and most important, supervisor Suhaimi from Ngee Ann City/Takashimaya security personnel for their help and first-aid services rendered to me last week when I had a fall. Thank you also to all the others who helped.'

'Kudos, SIA.'

MR JAREL SEEH: 'I commend Ms Pearline Lee, Singapore Airlines customer service manager, for her efforts when I asked for help. Her meticulous attention to detail, promptness in updating me and her 'human touch' in expediting my query are a sterling example of the flagship standard we should strive for in customer service. Kudos once again to SIA.'

'Best of all, he spoke Hokkien.'

MR GOH GEOK HUAT: 'I commend Dr Yap Chee Mun of Marine Parade Polyclinic. Unlike on previous visits, my elderly father was fortunate to have been seen by Dr Yap recently. Dr Yap was patient, listened to my dad and explained his condition clearly. Best of all, he spoke Hokkien which facilitated communication with my father.'

'Thank you, Jessica.'

MR ADAM LEO ISIDORE TAN: 'I was dining at Gourmet Plus in Frankel Avenue late last month with my father and my eight-month-old daughter Clare. It was supposed to be a father-son bonding session, but Clare had other plans, and whined away. A woman seated near the door immediately helped to secure a baby seat and placed our pram in another corner. I later found out that she was Jessica, the co-owner of Gourmet Plus. After a nap, when I had a chance to catch up with my father, Clare woke crying. Jessica came over from her own dinner party and took Clare for a stroll outside so my father and I could finish dinner. I was touched and impressed. While other restaurants worry about the consequences to other diners, Jessica went the extra mile to help my father and me enjoy a rare dinner together. Thank you, Jessica and Gourmet Plus staff.'
