We wish to clarify that the 'aggressive ticket touts' mentioned were not authorised by Singapore Pools to sell 4-D and Scratchit! tickets.

All Singapore Pools products - that is, Toto, 4-D, Singapore Sweep, Scratchit! and sports betting - are sold at Singapore Pools branches and authorised retailers. The Singapore Sweep is also sold by some disabled and financially needy individuals who make a living from the sale of these tickets. As with all our frontline staff and employees of authorised retailers, Singapore Sweep sellers are bound to observe our responsible gaming measures such as not selling to anyone under the age of 18 or in school uniform.

Singapore Pools was set up to provide a legal avenue for betting and we regard responsible gaming as a top priority. We take this opportunity to remind members of the public who wish to have a little flutter to buy their tickets at the ticket's face value from Singapore Pools branches and authorised retailers and Singapore Sweep sellers.
