'She served us Milo and biscuits on the morning of the PSLE.'
STUDENT ONG KIAN JIE: 'I salute Concord Primary School principal Rita Dass for doing so much for us last year. We were touched by her care and humility. She served us Milo and biscuits on the morning of the PSLE. She was concerned for those who did not have breakfast. Her love and concern spurred us on.'
'Guest room for me to change son's diaper.'
MS TANG HUI KHENG: 'Compliments to Conrad Centennial Hotel and Oscar's restaurant for having an excellent crew when my family dined there last month. The staff members were attentive and considerate. When we needed a place to change my two-month-old son's diaper, we were impressed with F&B executive Samsul Halim. He got a guest room for me to make the change as he was concerned that the hard marble top in the ladies washroom would be uncomfortable for our baby.'
'Bravo, BirdPark, first-class service.'
MRS RITA MOULIN: 'I applied for a membership card to celebrate my daughter's first birthday at Jurong BirdPark. While I was at work, the park's advertising and promotions manager, Mr Nicholas Cordeiro, e-mailed a reply. When I reached home from work, I saw a BirdPark paper bag at my front door containing a personalised birthday card for my daughter, postcards and toys for my two children and the membership card. Bravo, Mr Cordeiro, Ms Gloria Ngoi and BirdPark staff.'
'I was in pain but my stay was made pleasant by the caring and attentive staff.'
MADAM PHILOMENA TEE: 'Last month, I had a bad fall and had to have surgery. Doctors at Alexandra Hospital attended to me promptly. During my stay, the staff were efficient and cheerful.'
'Thank you, SCDF and Captain Yam.'
MR LI JIONGSHEN: 'My appreciation to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and Captain Yam Yeow Kiat for the professional training rendered at the Civil Defence Academy. Captain Yam enriched the fire safety managers' course with actual examples. He showed impeccable care and relentless effort in educating us.'
'Thank you for making my family's movie day a very enjoyable experience, instead of a disaster.'
MADAM JULIANA KOH: 'I commend Desmond of Cathay Cinema @ AMK Hub, who went out of his way to help us after my family and I turned up for a show a day earlier than we should have. He exchanged our tickets for a later show that day and offered us free tickets to watch another show in the meantime so we wouldn't have to wait so long.'
'Within five minutes, I got my son's passport.'
MS GLENICE TOH: 'I am writing to compliment Immigration and Checkpoints Authority officer Tham Chek Fran, who expedited the collection of my eight-month-old son's passport last month. I was alone with my son, with 268 persons ahead of us in the queue. I had to go home to feed my son as his feeding time was approaching. I asked for help and Mr Tham got me the passport in five minutes. He also extended the service to a man who was with his 90-year-old, wheelchair-bound father.'
