I REFER to the letter, 'Rehiring policy won't work without support' by Mr Tony Xuan (April 28).
We thank Mr Xuan for his interest in working for the People's Association.
Because of the large number of job applications we received, we regret that only shortlisted applicants were notified, which was mentioned in both our print and online job advertisements.
Mr Xuan may approach the career centres at the community development councils for job-placement assistance as well as career and training advice.
