'Why is its price not significantly lower than, say, Sheng Siong?' MR YEO KHEE QUAN, who says: 'FairPrice, being a cooperative, pays no corporate taxes and is under no obligation to show a profit. If we give the corporate tax deduction to non-cooperative supermarkets, can they not give the same, if not a lower deduction, to members of FairPrice who seem to encompass everyone in Singapore?'
