Madam Law received financial assistance for her children under the Centre-based Financial Assistance for Childcare and Student Care Fee Assistance schemes, because eligibility criteria were met. However, she did not meet eligibility criteria for other community development council (CDC)-administered financial assistance schemes.

We assure readers that all applications for CDC-administered financial assistance are evaluated according to criteria set by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, regardless of the applicant's constituency.
