WEE GUEK SUAN (MS) seeks an explanation from the education authorities about violent sentences like the above which she discovered in the spelling list of her niece who is in Primary 4. She grants that while children are more exposed to violence today, it shouldn't be reinforced in schools especially to pupils as young as 10 years old.
