I REFER to Friday's letter by Mr Dudley Au, 'Defaced note: Why wasn't bank aware of ruling?'.
OCBC Bank is aware of the Guidelines On Payment Of Refund For Mutilated Currency Notes And Coins and has in place documented procedures for handling such notes. All staff have been trained in such procedures.
