OUR maid agency told us it would need two weeks to transfer our maid to a new employer.
It has been three months since the maid left. When queried, the maid agency promised it would do the transfer - but kept delaying, giving various excuses. Meanwhile, the maid is still registered under our name and we still pay the levy.
How can I protect myself? What if anything happens during this transfer period? Can the Ministry of Manpower please advise?
