Of cabbies and such...

'Exceedingly poor and extremely dangerous.'

MR ALAN GOH, describing Singapore's taxi drivers' standards of driving, which he says stand in contrast to the generally strict driving test learners here must pass. There is a lack of skill, focus and concentration in their driving, he maintains. To improve road safety, he suggests that many of the cabbies should either re-sit their tests or be re-trained.

'We should not confuse the commuters and the cabbies anymore.'
