WITH reference to Monday's report, 'Park in Orchard Road? It'll cost you even more', I was slapped with the stiffest parking charge at a hotel last weekend.
An otherwise-delightful lunch last Saturday at St Regis in Tanglin Road was marred when I was charged more than $16 for parking there for about three hours. This makes even the highest charges by the shopping malls mentioned in the report seem reasonable!
