I WELCOME the news that public transport will be more people-centred, rather than profit-driven. Will the North-East Line's Woodleigh MRT station be opened to the public now? The station is ready but remains closed.
There are more people in the area now with residents moving into the new Blossoms@Woodleigh condominium. Their numbers add to those in existing condos such as Avon Park and Euro-Asia.
The station is located near the Salvation Army premises, and is next to Bidadari Park, now a favourite exercise spot.Also, it is within a short distance of Cedar Girls' primary and secondary schools.
