BUS CAPTAIN GOES EXTRA MILE
I AM a regular passenger of service 105. Bus captain Salehudin Hashim goes the extra mile for his passengers. and his helpful nature extends to other road users as well.
He never fails to wave to say thanks to motorists who give way. I have seen him help elderly passengers board and alight from his bus, even carrying their bags for them.

CABBY HELPED HER ARRIVE ON TIME
ON FEB 13, I was on my way to an important meeting but got lost in Ang Mo Kio. I hopped into Premier cab No. SHB 8514 B and told the driver where I wanted to go. Although he was unsure of the way, he searched the street directory and got me there in no time.
Then I realised I didn't have enough cash. To my surprise, he said, 'It's okay, girl. You go for your meeting. Don't want you to be late.'

ITEM RETRIEVED FROM MRT TRACK
ON FEB 21 at about 10.45am, while waiting for the train at Paya Lebar MRT station, a strong wind blew my legal document onto the track. I told
SMRT staff in the control room, and the staff (especially Mr Lim Beng Seng) arranged for the item to be retrieved, knowing it was important to me.

WORKSHOP TO HELP LOW-INCOME GROUP
IT IS delightful to see South East Community Development Council help low-income families cope with financial problems. It organised a budgeting workshop to impart useful economic information. Through interactive and game sessions, participants were reminded how to manage income and expenses, and develop wise spending habits.
